29 Years of Law Enforcement Experience and

Proven Leadership

After much contemplation and prayer, Marshal Greg Countryman has decided to run for the Office of Muscogee County Sheriff in 2020.

 

Greg has served as Muscogee County Marshal for the past 4 terms. He has been in law enforcement for 29 years strong. He worked with the Muscogee County Sheriff's Office as a sheriff’s deputy. He’s worked many areas in the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office such as the Jail Division, Court Services, Field Services and was last assigned to work in the Fugitive Unit.

 

His 15 years as Muscogee County Marshal has afforded him an understanding of the complexities and the awesome responsibilities of successfully holding and managing a city-wide elected office. He is a graduate of the Columbus State Regional Command College Class #26 and the FBI LEEDS training program. He holds two undergraduate degrees, a Masters in Public Administration, Masters in Theology/Ministry and a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling.
