32 Years of Law Enforcement Experience and
Proven Leadership

Sheriff Greg Countryman was elected in 2021 and after much contemplation and prayer, he has decided to run for another term in 2024.

Greg has served for three years as Sheriff and prior to that he was the Muscogee County Marshal for 16 years. He has been in law enforcement for 30 years strong. During his tenure as Sheriff he successfully handled the merger of the Muscogee County Marshal's Office with the Sheriff's Office, maintained a Jail at its capacity, improved employee morale, all while restoring the public's trust in the Office of the Sheriff. He has taken a proactive stance against criminal enterprise in Muscogee County. Sheriff Countryman has led the fight in confronting the gang community. In two years, the Muscogee County Sheriff's Office has seized over 500 guns from the hands of gang members and convicted felons. They have also seized $3,150,000.00 worth of drugs off the streets. In fact, the Sheriff's Office seized 380,000 doses of illegal Fentanyl. As the Sheriff stated, 'this is enough to kill everyone in Columbus.'

We hope that you will join us in the mission to get Sheriff Greg Coutryman re-elected, so that he may continue his efforts to make the streets of our county safer for all Citizens.
